Overview:
Responsible for managing the systems, procedures and personnel involved with the overall process control of the Moncks Corner production facility. This includes optimization of all processes associated with Foley catheter manufacturing in order to promote maximum yield of quality product within the facility.


Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
Management of systems, procedures, personnel and processes to maintain optimum process control.
Development of process overviews to include prioritized listing of improvement opportunities.
Utilization of problem solving techniques through individual and team activities to identify key areas within each process opportunity.
Implement risk based corrective action/s when necessary to ensure adequate process controls are in place.
Champion the identification of leading indicators and support the implementation of actions to reduce the undesired contributors.
Preparation of process validation protocols to challenge diverse manufacturing processes.
Responsible for providing 24 hour support to process functions.
Successfully support the sustaining engineering efforts for the existing product line
Hires, trains and coaches Engineers and Technicians to thrive in a results-driven environment.
Design approval and implementation.
Subject matter expert (SME) in catheter processing.
Implement and maintain process methods and procedures.
Plan, develop and implement SOPs and MPs to ensure accurate process and quality methods.


Basic Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field (Course in Statistics required).
Minimum of 5 years technical experience in natural latex or related dipping, with at least 3 years managerial experience.
Minimum 5 years experience with project management.
Working knowledge of natural latex and the dipping industry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.

* The employee occasionally works with toxic or caustic chemicals.
* The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
* The Personal Protective Equipment required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses and appropriate shoes. The employee would occasionally use ear plugs.
