Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
Under the leadership of the Director of Quality Systems, the Sr. Field Assurance Analyst will be responsible for utilizing data analysis and data trending tools and techniques to generate reports in order to proactively identify complaint trends so corrective and preventive actions may be implemented to resolve quality issues.


Essential Job Functions:

* Review customer complaint data and establish which data requires trending on a routine basis.
* Create customer complaint trending database.
* Generate customer complaint trend reports.
* Provide complain trend reports and data analyses to department management and key stakeholders, as required.
* Proactively analyze trends so corrective and preventive actions may be implemented to resolve quality issues.
* Provide support in the development, maintenance, and improvement of hardware and software support tools for complaint handling and complaint trend analysis.
* Provide strong general computer hardware and software support to the department.


Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Science, Biology or equivalent.
* 5-7 years of experience in quality engineering or data analysis in the medical device, pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* 1-3 years of experience in complaint handling in the medical device, pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Comprehensive knowledge of quality systems and relationship to business.
* Experience utilizing complaint handling databases, preferably TrackWise.
* Experience utilizing data analysis tools and software.
* Excellent technical writing ability
* Effective problem solving techniques.
* Excellent applied thinking skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment where drive is critical to success.
* Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.


Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel or Access databases.
* Extremely articulate in oral an written communications.
* Good interpersonal skills including ability to interact with high degree of diplomacy.
* Team player with ability to successfully interact with representatives from a variety of disciplines within Davol and C.R. Bard.
* Successfully perform routine administrative functions as well sa complex data analyis functions.
* Provide leadership and expertise concerning data analyses and trend reporting.
