Overview:
The Director of Commercial Operations is responsible for enhancing sales and increasing profits through the management of national or major accounts, optimizing the sales process and helping develop and implementing our pricing and GPO/IDN strategies. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing and improving the sales management teams business acumen and utilization of our national contracts.
Essential Job Functions:
* Participate fully as an active contributor to the senior Sales Management Team.
* Manage a team of Regional National accounts Managers to implement the strategic directives in regards to pricing and GPO/IDN contracts.
* Coordinates GPO Request for Proposal response process (Develop pricing strategies, sales plans, contract launches and analysis for GPO’s, IDN’s and key accounts).
* Develop a holistic approach to the sales process and the measures and metrics to monitor sales performance and improve revenue growth.
* Manage Davol’s contracts department.
* Manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce.com.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Management or related area.
Five years outside medical sales experience or equivalency.
Ability to interact effectively with senior management at hospitals or health systems.
Effective presentation skills.
Well developed analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
Exhibit leadership and motivation skills.
