Overview:
Effectively work with assigned business partners to plan and manage the development and administration of human capital strategic programs including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and performance management.


Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
Direct all recruiting and employment activities, to ensure that the most qualified candidates are recruited, screened and hired to fill all required positions. Provide employment support as necessary. Manage salary administration practices to ensure equity and consistency. Participate in salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation structures and salaries and recommend any necessary actions. Supervise the administration of all benefit programs. Assess, propose, develop and implement development and training programs. Monitor, investigate and advise appropriate management of problems in employee attitudes, morale and/or motivation. Resolve employee relations issues. Consult in the preparation of individual position descriptions, performance goals and performance evaluations. Assist in the development of organizational structures that will facilitate accomplishment of strategic departmental objectives. Manage Tuition Assistance Program. Preparation and administration of EEO and Affirmative Action programs for division. Support the preparation and administration of plans.


Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree. Minimum of 5-8 years experience in related field. Experience in the assessment and delivery of training/development programs. Experienced knowledge of local and national employment market characteristics, successful recruiting programs, minority recruiting and identification of applicant sources.
